A little history (very interesting!)
The leopard print has been a staple in our wardrobes (and those of our mothers and grandmothers!) for a very long time, making its comeback in numerous collections and trends over the years. Animal print allows you to stand out and express your originality through different pieces. It offers a wide range of outfit options, with its many variations in terms of colors, patterns, accessories, and fabrics. But isn’t its constant return proof of its timelessness? We’re going to talk about it :)

Leopard print has been worn for decades by the greatest celebrities and public figures. It first became a symbol of chic and elegance at the first Christian Dior fashion show in 1947, and was worn by Jackie Kennedy and Queen Elizabeth II. It later became a symbol of sexiness and the rebellious punk and rock spirit with David Bowie and Madonna. Leopard print was also part of ’90s pop culture, featured in unforgettable full looks. Other celebrities, meanwhile, have never stopped wearing it.

Leopard print: spotted and announced on the major runways for 2024 and… 2025!
It was during the fall-winter 2023/2024 collections that leopard print made its comeback, appearing both on subtle pieces and statement pieces. Whether on the runways or on the streets, people love leopard print—and you can see it everywhere! Sorry, girls, but for those who aren’t fans of this trend, leopard print will still be here next year! Hooray! We spotted a magnificent full leopard-print trench coat on the Dior fall-winter 2024–2025 runway!!! We love it.

There’s no question: leopard print IS timeless. As soon as a piece or pattern comes back every season, it becomes a timeless classic. Loved by haute couture houses, celebrities, and us alike, this print defies trend codes while remaining etched in our memories. Balancing trendiness and timelessness, leopard print knows how to charm, stand out, and remain at the heart of fashion. So whether you use it to accessorize your outfit or make it the statement piece, don’t doubt yourself or your style when wearing this print! However, this season the big trend is bow-tie blouses, so you absolutely need to have a leopard-print one!!
Fashion tips
Everyone wears leopard print in their own way, but here are a few fashion tips if you’re still unsure about your looks.
You can wear it in several ways:
- Subtly, by accessorizing your outfit with a bag, a pair of sneakers, or a hair bow
- As a statement piece, by placing it at the center of your outfit with a Blouse, a jacket, or even a Skirt!
Leopard print pairs very well with color, especially yellow, pink, and blue. If you prefer a more understated look, you can pair it with other patterns, as well as neutral colors or a classic fabric such as Jeans. You get the idea: leopard print is quite easy to wear, whether you’re on team classic or team original.
